Beach Bunny Swimwear’s New Girls
Posted by amy | July 2, 2010

The California label Beach Bunny Swimwear is having a stellar season, filled with smart marketing and design decisions that have made it one of the top designer swim labels in the U.S.

Hot on the heels of signing the Kardashian girls to author a signature line, Beach Bunny landed supermodels Irina Sheik and Rosie Huntington to model its new 2010 swimwear lines.

The latter was a true coup, since Rosie is one of the hottest faces in the business right now, fronting beachwear campaigns for Monsoon and Victoria’s Secret as well as Beach Bunny. Oh, and we didn’t forget — she’s also been picked to replace Megan Fox as the eye candy in the next Transformers demolition derby.
The photo gallery below shows Rosie modeling two lines from Beach Bunny — the bright, mostly white Class Act collection, and the dark, sultry Alpha Girl line (no word on whether that line was named FOR Rosie, but it might as well have been!)

We’ve also included a few shots of sleek Irina in Beach Bunny’s wicked new Irina line. That’s Irina in the top row below, and there’s certainly no question where that collection’s name comes from!

But there’s someone else who will bring a lot of repeat customers back to Beach Bunny — we’re just not sure of her name.

That’s “Jessica” in the photo above, the winner of BB’s 2010 model search competition, which attracted thousands of submissions from pro and wannabe swimsuit models from across the country.

“Jessica” begins her gig with Beach Bunny at the Miami Swimwear Show on July 11, then heads off to shoot the catalogue for BB’s 2011 line. Unfortunately, Beach Bunny doesn’t tell us much about their new face, other than her first name and the fact that she considers her best asset to be her “big, round butt”. She even credits the Kardashians for inspiring her achievement in this area. Um, okay.

For those who dream of such celebrity, start getting in shape now: Beach Bunny begins accepting submissions for its 2011 model search on September 1.
