Beautifully Undressed has carved out a nice little niche for itself in the online lingerie marketplace with a carefully curated selection of luxury brands and a commitment to creating vivid content like its new project ‘Eden’.
The Garden-of-Eden themed campaign includes a colourful lookbook and companion video. Both feature model Katrina Louise in the Eve role and a snake named Mango (true!), and were shot by Chris Jarvis.
The real stars, though, are the numerous brands on display here, selected from BU’s stock of more than 30 luxury lines. Along with familiar names like Lascivious and Harlow & Fox, the Eden campaign showcases pieces from the spring-summer offerings of Iris London, Violet & Wren, swim brand Afina London and flirty newcomer Dora Larsen.
It’s all a reflection of BU founder Annabelle Mu’azu’s affection for smaller independent labels and new fashion-forward lingerie looks. The Windsor (UK) resident launched her webshop in 2013 after a 15-year career curating African art, and she brought serious consumer passion to the task.
“I’ve always been rather obsessed with lingerie after indulging in my first La Perla set at 17,” she writes. “It took me nearly 6 months to save for it but the pure pleasure I felt when I put it on was indescribable and I was hooked! Lingerie for me is more than seduction, it’s about beauty and empowerment, feeling womanly and beautiful & confident in my skin – this is what I want all women to feel.’’
Beautifully Undressed ships worldwide for a small feel and even offers a bespoke service.
Now here are some more shots from the new Eden lookbook and video.
