Canadian lingerie retailer La Vie En Rose had pride of place at this weekend’s Montreal Fashion and Design Festival, closing out the four-day event with a splashy outdoor runway show at Casino Montreal.
La Vie En Rose, which is also based in Montreal, is Canada’s largest independent lingerie chain, with 165 stores across the country and about 65 licensed boutiques in many foreign countries. It marks its 30th anniversary this year.
For its first runway show in years, the company used a dozen models to showcase 30 pieces of loungewear and lingerie, mostly drawn from its Autumn-Winter 2014 collections. The feathered and fringed pieces shown below are from La Vie En Rose‘s international collection, but the company said it is thinking of making them available in Canada, too.
This was the 14th edition of Montreal’s Festival Mode et Design, which makes much of its programming and outdoor runway shows open to the public. As a result, it was expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors.
