It wouldn’t be a Monty Python show without a little of the old slap ‘n tickle, now would it?
The revered British comedy troupe, which opened its 10-night reunion show at O2 Arena tonight, got some help from lingerie brand Agent Provocateur, which provided an assortment of erotic costumes for the sold-out run.
In a major deviation from past Monty Python skits, though, this time the sexy underthings are being worn by women.
Agent Provocateur put together a custom ensemble of black boudoir pieces for 10 dancers participating in the Monty Python (Mostly) Live Show. The long sheer coverup is the Lenara dressing gown (below) from AP’s premium Soiree collection.
The images below are taken from rehearsals for the reunion, and show a glammed-up version of Monty Python‘s legendary “Blackmail” sketch, in which game show contestants are given a chance to stop their indiscretions from being revealed.
The final performance from the 5-man troupe will take place on July 20, and will be broadcast live in theaters and on TV in move than 100 countries.
