Wish there was some way to make your high-priced special-occasion lingerie just a little more … special?

Well, La Perla has just the thing for customers looking for one-of-a-kind luxury.

The Italian lingerie house is introducing a revamped bespoke service this fall called La Perla Made To Measure that promises to be the last word (for now) in exclusive undergarments.

Offered in selected flagship boutiques, the M2M service will allow customers to purchase personalized, hand-crafted versions of La Perla styles, with input on color and fabric choices and the assurance of a tailored fit. And to make the experience truly unique, your initials can be embroidered onto the garment — in gold thread.

So far, La Perla has revealed three styles that embody the opulence of the M2M service: a Gold Edition of its ornate Maison range; the glittering Cristallo Nero range with Swarovski crystal detailing; and the eye-popping Filigrane set made from gold filigree thread, which the company calls “luxury lingerie design meets the craft of high-end jewelers”.

Prices for the new pieces and the M2M custom service have not been released, and it’s unclear at this point if the personalization options will be offered on other styles from La Perla‘s collections.

La Perla has been generating interest in the M2M service this spring with an advertorial campaign from fashion photographers Mert and Marcus and featuring international models Liu Wen, Daria Strokous and Mariacarla Boscono.
