Most trendy-savvy women don’t need instructions when it comes to layering on the broad assortment of fashionable, fetish-friendly garments that we call underwear today.
But it’s always nice to get some help imagining the possibilities.
That’s the idea behind this cool new lookbook from Craft and Culture, the Seattle-based online boutique that provides a curated e-commerce platform for independent fashion designers.
C&C has been a huge supporter of Hopeless Lingerie, the widely admired Australian indie label, and its new spring lookbook provides a showcase for designer Gaby Adamidis’ work.
Titled ‘States of Undress’, the photo series provides numerous reference points for putting on (or taking off) pieces from the Hopeless catalogue of harnesses, mesh bodies and other strappy pieces.
As you can see, the possibilities are numerous. We especially like the way stylist Michele Andrews creates a formal-wear look by pairing a classic menswear-style shirt with Hopeless‘ hip black undies.
C&C has a good collection of Hopeless pieces in stock, some of which are exclusive to their shop.
States of Undress was shot by Jessica Carter and also includes pieces from other C&C designers like Ovate, The Stowe and First Base. You can see the full series here.
