Looking for a novel way to share your love? How about undies-for-two?
Swedish hipster brand Bjorn Borg has introduced a limited edition “tandem pant” — a pair of underwear that fits two people — as part of a charitable campaign to raise awareness about HIV prevention.
The Get It On two-person brief was introduced in London recently to announce Borg’s partnership with the UK-based MTV Staying Alive Foundation, which supports programs that combat the spread of HIV around the world. At the launch event, model and MTV ambassador Becca Dudley entered the room on a zip-line (below), sharing a pair of tandem undies with boyfriend Jay Hiest.
“As HIV continues to disproportionately affect young people (almost 45% of new infections are among 15–24 year olds), creative and impactful collaborations, such as that between Björn Borg and the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, have never been more important,” the foundation said in a news release.
The Get It On tandem set is part of a four-piece mini-collection from Bjorn Borg that feature a bright camo-style print inspired by the Kama Sutra. One Euro (or equivalent) from each pair sold from the collection will go to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, while 100% of proceeds from the Get It On tandem set will go to that program, too.
The tandem set retails for €50 while other pieces in the Get It On collection range from €21-27.
Bjorn Borg‘s US webshop offers free shipping in North America but we’re unsure if the Get It On collection is available on this side of the pond yet; we’ll update this post when we have more information.
