Stella McCartney Lingerie is back with a colorful fall collection that will carry over nicely into next spring as well.
With more than a dozen new looks in both the premium and Stella basics line, this collection covers a lot of bases — big floral prints, zesty animal print, and plenty of delicate lacework like you see in the Giselle Charming bra above.
Why has SML become such a treasured brand after only five years in business? Of all the Bendon Group‘s brands (which include Pleasure State and Elle Macpherson Intimates), Stella is the one with the most personality.
In addition to classic silhouettes and appealing French-inspired styles, each new collection from Stella includes something quirky, cute and clever. This summer it was the Camille Cooling Shorts (above), which were meant as lounging or sleep shorts … until they started showing up on streets, beaches and in festival crowds, too.
We see several items in the fall portfolio (featuring Dutch supermodel Marloes Horst) that could become this season’s multi-purpose must-have. Which one gets your pulse racing the most?
It’s not always easy keeping track of the latest offerings from this label, though. SML hasn’t always followed the rigid pattern of seasonal product releases that other brands adhere to, and product availability often depends on where you shop, not when. But be patient, all of these styles will find their way to a boutique or department store near you, wherever you live, eventually.
