Itching to try on some of those outfits that Britney Spears wore during her Circus tour?
Well. most of those glittering corsets and crystal-laden bodysuits have been shipped off the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by now, but you can now get your hands on the bra featured in the photo above.
The Britney bra, created by Dutch lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers especially for the tour, is now being offered in a limited edition as part of the Global Fireworks range in Dekkers’ luxurious new Christmas lingerie collection.
Ironically, you won’t have the distinction of being the first average Jane to wear the Britney bra — that honor goes to an anonymous fan who stole the original from the pop star’s dressing room during a show. We’re still watching for it to turn up on eBay!
The new limited-edition Britney bra is made from black microfibre and elastine, and sparkles with Swarovski hematite stones (which are a bit hard to see in these photos). It sells for € 149 ($200 USD) and can be matched with other pieces from the Global Fireworks range.
For those who care about such things, Britney’s 2009 Circus tour played to more than 10 million fans. Her tour wardrobe, which included several pieces custom-made by Marlies Dekkers, included more than 100,000 Swarovski crystals hand-placed on costumes.
The images below show the Britney bra from the Marlies Dekkers Christmas campaign, as well as the rest of the Global Fireworks line. You can find this collector’s item here.
