Kate Moss sure knows how to take a bow.
The trendsetting supermodel’s final clothing and lingerie line for UK retailer Topshop is infused with the unique, bohemian style that she is known for.
The capsule collection — U.S. customers can shop online here — includes everything from sparkly party dresses and smart tweed blazers to jewelry and vintage-inspired lingerie. Even better, for those who weren’t able to get their hands on favorites from Kate’s past Topshop collections you now have another chance — the new collection includes 10 sold-out signature looks from previous editions of the Kate-Topshop collaboration.
This time, Kate’s lingerie offerings range from bras and panties to a slip and kimono, all with a flirty, feminine and vintage-inspired vibe.
The looks range from a triangle bra and underwear set in a soft bluish-grey inset with lace, to the Chinese Floral with Bows set, a playful floral bra and panty with scalloped trim and a contrasting blue ribbon and bow detail.
The Lace Ruffle Bra and Pant is very girlie and vintage — a structured nude bra with black straps and lace trim with a matching set of nude panties featuring the same lace detailing at the hip.
The loungerie trend can also be seen in the Lace and Silk Cami and matching pale yellow, lace-trimmed silk shorts, which exude an Old World elegance and romanticism.
And the black Oriental Kimono and Slip, decorated with a vibrant floral print, are the perfect choice for the chic woman relaxing at home, while the Chinese Floral Teddy is great for staying in, but also something one can imagine Kate Moss wearing out and about paired with tough boots and a leather jacket.
For those who like their fashion exclusive, the Kate Moss Topshop collection also features several limited edition pieces that come with numbered tags. There are only 50 of two of the dresses being produced, while there will only be 100 of the other four limited edition pieces.
The jewelry in the line isn’t being manufactured in such limited quantity, but it also isn’t likely to last long. The Art Deco-inspired cocktail rings and long necklaces would be the perfect companion to some of the silky and luxurious KM lingerie pieces.
And if you’re one of the many who were disappointed to learn that this will be the last Kate Moss collection for Topshop, you need not despair. A report from Vogue UK suggests that the recently married Ms. Moss is already in talks with Topshop’s Sir Phillip Green to design a — what else? — lingerie line. Stay tuned.
