Millions of women know the frustration of trying to find a reliable bra brand that comes in uncommon sizes. Well, you think you have problems? Imagine if you wore a 28H. That’s right — a 28H.
Smaller women with large busts will be thrilled to learn of the recent launch of the cleverly-named 2wenty8, a niche label catering to this hard-to-fit market.
The first 2wenty8 lingerie collection was released this summer by Miss Fit UK, a small, fit-focused company that designs and distributes a number of labels serving curvy women.
But 2wenty8 is something altogether unique, offering both moulded underwire and lace balconette bras in 28″ bust size with cups ranging from DD-H. They’ll expand in the spring, adding 30″ and 32″ sizes to the collection.
2wenty8 offers three styles of its Loren satin underwire bra (above), with light padding and lace embroidery, in claret, blush and metallica hues. Matching satin thongs or briefs are also available.
Most interesting, though, is the Bette line of black of white lace balconette bras with underwire support (bottom photo). These are perfect for V-neck or low-cut outfits and provide the kind of silhouette that is often unavailable to a smaller woman with a large bust.
2wenty8 is based in the UK but ships internationally and prides itself on next-day shipping. Prices are reasonable, too — expect to pay about $50 USD for a bra after adding the shipping costs.
