They sure don’t call her a supermodel for nothing — this woman is everywhere!
Brazilian bombshell and new momma Gisele Bundchen is one of three models, alongside Isabeli Fontana and Angela Lindvall, to be featured in the summer edition of Muse magazine, which is billed as the green issue.
Shot by photographer and friend Nino Muñoz, the editorial spread is entitled Earth Angel and shows a beautiful 1960s-styled Bundchen in decadent lingerie from some of the industry’s leading labels. The shoot depicts the curvaceous model as a retro pinup sex symbol à la Jean Shrimpton, a Bardot-like sex kitten (above) and also a bohemian/earth lover amongst tall grasses.
Bundchen is the perfect choice to feature in Muse’s green issue as she is a huge advocate of eco-friendly practices and adamant about conserving and preserving earth’s natural resources. Not only does her eco-friendly sandal collection, Ipanema, support a different conservation effort each year (this year it’s supporting the Tamar Project, an environmental program protecting five species of sea turtles), but she has also created a skin care line, Sejaa, made from 100% natural ingredients and packaged from recycled materials. I don’t think you can get much greener than that!
Of course, the fact that Bundchen looks amazing in lingerie (I swear, the fact that she like, just had a baby is so unfair!) also helps her cause, wouldn’t you agree?
In the enviable photos, the buxom Earth Angel wears sexy underpinnings like the feminine vintage-inspired lavender ensemble from Marc Jacobs (top photo below), a black lace and satin bodysuit from Dolce and Gabbana (centre), and an orange silk bra from Jean Paul Gaultier (bottom).
